I have this adapter app on pc called DS4 Controller and it makes it so the PS5 controller is detected as an XBOX controller. The track pad just turns into a mouse pad thing. Try it out, might work for you.

Can't speak from experience or with certainty, but I'm willing to bet the Xbox app doesn't support the ps5 controller for obvious reasons.
